At South East Game Birds, we take great care to ensure that all hatching eggs are securely packaged to minimise the risk of damage during transit. Eggs are packed using protective materials and methods designed specifically for fragile items.
However, by purchasing hatching eggs, you acknowledge and accept the following:
Risk During Transit
Hatching eggs are extremely delicate and can be affected by:
- Rough handling by postal or courier services
- Vibrations and movement during transport
- Temperature fluctuations
- Delays in delivery
These factors are outside of our control and may impact egg viability, fertility, and hatch rates.
No Guarantee After Dispatch
Once eggs have been dispatched:
- We cannot guarantee their condition upon arrival
- We are not responsible for reduced hatch rates due to shipping conditions
- We are not liable for courier delays or mishandling
Packaging Standards
We use proven packing methods to protect eggs during shipping. Despite this, damage can still occasionally occur due to the fragile nature of the product.
Customer Responsibility
By placing an order, you agree that:
- You understand the risks associated with shipping hatching eggs
- You accept that successful hatching cannot be guaranteed after transit
- You are purchasing at your own risk with regard to shipping-related factors
Damaged in Transit
If your eggs arrive visibly damaged, please refer to our Refund & Return Policy and contact us within 24 hours with photographic evidence.

We strongly recommend allowing eggs to rest for 12–24 hours after delivery before incubation to improve hatch success.
